Where to stay in Turin for the Book Fair 2027

The Turin International Book Fair (Salone Internazionale del Libro) returns from 13 to 17 May 2027 at Lingotto Fiere (via Nizza 280): five days of talks, authors and publishers at Italy's largest book fair. These are the dates announced at the close of the 2026 edition: check the programme on the official website (salonelibro.it) before you travel.

Why stay in the historic centre

• In the evening, the city: after a day at the fair you are back among the bars of the Quadrilatero Romano, a step from via Garibaldi and 5 minutes on foot from Piazza Castello.
• Getting to Lingotto: walk to Porta Nuova station (about 14 minutes), then take metro line 1 to the Lingotto stop. Up-to-date routes and times on gtt.to.it.
• Arrive whenever you like: with self check-in you can get in at any time, even after evening events.
• Quiet to rest: Portico Garibaldi is a period studio for 2 people overlooking the inner courtyard, away from street noise.
